[Gerrit Meyerheim]

Gerrit Meyerheim

My primary research interest lies in quantitative macroeconomics, particularly in the areas economic growth, inequality, and political economy. The main focus of my work is explaining the vast comparative development differences observed today.

I received my Ph.D. in 2018 from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU) and subsequently joined the Department of Economics as an Assistant Professor.

At LMU, I teach graduate level courses on macroeconomics (growth and business cycles) as well as political economy.
